The 7th Annual John Prine Night Poster

I collaborated with the brilliant artist Amada Miller on the event poster for The 7th Annual John Prine Night at The French Co. Grocer in Marathon, TX. I incorporated Amada’s beautiful indigo dye panel work into this conceptual piece that represents John Prine’s song “Blue Umbrella” (the theme of the 2026 event) as the Rio Grande flowing into Santa Elena Canyon in Big Bend National Park, where the Trump administration’s border wall effort has been bulldozing the last true wilderness in Texas.

Event Poster For Local Builder Training

The Phius Alliance Austin commissioned a poster in the style of The Armadillo World Headquarters for a builder training they hosted in Austin in 2025. It’s a hand drawn poster (even the QR code was hand drawn) that was used for promotional campaigns and various elements were used for their merchandise as well.

I collaborated with the famed Texas painter, Matt Tumlinson, on the event poster for The 6th Annual John Prine Night at The French Co. Grocer in Marathon, TX. Matt’s surreal painting of the store was the central focus of the work, while my scope was layout and typography.
